DADDY DIDN’T
THINK HIS LITTLE
GIRL WOULD
EVER HAVE SEX
Awareness and acceptance of the HPV vaccine has steadily been on the rise in the queer community. However, men who have sex with men are still 17 times more likely to get anal cancer than heterosexual men because of this virus. The mechanics put us at risk. HPV vaccines alleviate that risk.
The straight population, particularly CISHET women, has not seen this increase in adoption and awareness.
“My Dad didn’t want me to get vaccinated because he didn’t think I would ever have sex,” explained Sara, “Surprise, Dad!”
While men who have sex with men continue to have increased risk of transmission compared to their straight counterparts, the mechanics of transmission aren’t interested in anyone’s sexual orientation.
“Steven and Sean told me that it doesn’t matter if the woo-woo goes in your hoo-hah or in your poot-poot,” exclaimed Sara. “I’m down with both, frankly, so I got the vaccine instead of cancer.”
Sara, and millions like her, are looking to us for leadership in lessening the effects of this most common STD.
This site is parody, but the risks, research, and resources are very real.
